Chuck Grassley has been in the United States Senate since 1981. Senators with that kind of experience, presuming they still know where they are, know all the tricks of the trade, and the Iowan may have just pulled off a shocker that points to evidence revealing one of the largest White House scandals in over a century.
Last week members of Congress revealed that the FBI holds on to documented proof that Joe Biden and his son Hunter received massive bribes during the sitting president’s time as vice president under Barack Obama.
Now Chuck Grassley has taken to the Senate floor and delivered a speech, protected from prosecution for revealing details of a secret FBI document by the Constitution’s Speech and Debates Clause, that says the president is compromised.
Is this why Barack Obama failed to endorse his vice president not once, but twice? Only supporting Biden for president when the choice was between him, Bernie Sanders, and Donald Trump?
The New York Post reported that the FBI source who informed on President Biden’s alleged role in a bribery scheme said that the Ukrainian businessman who allegedly paid off the then-VP claims to have 15 audio recordings of first son Hunter Biden and two of Joe Biden, a Republican senator revealed Monday.
Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) made the stunning claim in a Senate floor speech after FBI Director Christopher Wray last week allowed House Oversight Committee members to see a redacted informant file about the claim that Hunter and then-veep Joe Biden received $5 million apiece to serve the interests of Burisma Holdings owner Mykola Zlochevsky.
“Congress still lacks a full and complete picture with respect to what that document really says. That’s why it’s important that the document be made public without unnecessary redactions for the American people to see,” said Grassley, accusing the bureau of needlessly redacting information about the recordings from the file shared with House lawmakers.
“Let me assist for purposes of transparency,” the 89-year-old went on. “The 1023 [form] produced to that House Committee redacted reference that the foreign national who allegedly bribed Joe and Hunter Biden allegedly has audio recordings of his conversations with them. Seventeen total recordings.
Grassley’s entire speech can be viewed below.
The informant referenced by the Iowa senator is very credible and “was previously used by the bureau in multiple probes into the Obama administration, The Daily Mail claimed.
“The sources briefed Fox News Digital on the contents of the FBI-generated FD-1023 form alleging a criminal bribery scheme between then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national that involved influence over U.S. policy decisions.
The FD-1023 form, dated June 30, 2020, is the FBI’s interview with a “highly credible” confidential source who detailed multiple meetings and conversations he or she had with a top Burisma executive over the course of several years, starting in 2015. Fox News Digital has not seen the form, but it was described by several sources who are aware of its contents.
An FD-1023 form is used by FBI agents to record unverified reporting from confidential human sources. The form is used to document information as told to an FBI agent, but recording that information does not validate or weigh it against other information known by the FBI.
The Burisma executive sought the advice of the confidential source, a business professional, on gaining U.S. oil rights and getting involved with a U.S. oil company, the sources familiar with the document said. The Burisma executive was speaking with the confidential source to “get advice on the best way to go forward” in 2015 and 2016.”
The president has acknowledged that while vice president he successfully pressured Ukraine to fire prosecutor Viktor Shokin, a prosector who was investigating Burisma Holdings. At the time, the then vice president’s son was raking in huge amounts of money from the same company.
Joe Biden told reporters in 2018, “I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion. I’m going to be leaving here in,’ I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’”
“Well, son of a bitch, he got fired,” Biden said during the event. “And they put in place someone who was solid at the time.”
Grassley’s speech seems coordinated with James Comer’s latest subpoena. The chairman of the House Oversight Committee has demanded that Hunter Biden’s former business partner be deposed this week.
“The Oversight Committee has been investigating the business dealings of several members of President Joe Biden’s family. Kentucky Republican James Comer wrote in a letter to an attorney for Archer stating that he ‘played a significant role in the Biden family’s business deals abroad, including but not limited to China, Russia, and Ukraine,'” according to CBS News.
The subpoena continues: “Additionally, while undertaking these ventures with the Biden family, your client met with then-Vice President Biden on multiple occasions, including in the White House.”
CBS also stated that “Archer’s potential testimony to the GOP House Oversight Committee is a significant milestone in the congressional probe. Archer served alongside Hunter Biden on the board of Burisma, a Ukraine energy company, beginning in 2014. During this period, then-Vice President Joe Biden was deeply involved in Ukraine policy, an era when his opponents say the energy firm was involved in corruption.
An independent forensic review of Hunter Biden’s laptop data by CBS News confirmed hundreds of communications between Hunter Biden and Archer, specifically, emails that suggest working meals were arranged before or after Burisma board meetings. Archer is widely believed to have facilitated Hunter Biden’s entry onto Burisma’s board.”
