By A man in New Hampshire has been arrested for allegedly threatening to kill a Republican presidential candidate and his supporters, a recent report has revealed.
According to court documents, 30-year-old Tyler Anderson planned to attack a Vivek Ramaswamy event in the Granite State scheduled for this week.
After receiving a message from the biotech entrepreneur’s campaign on December 8 promoting a Portsmouth, New Hampshire political campaign stop on December 11, Anderson leveled his threat over text message – and across state lines, reports the Daily Mail.
‘Great, another opportunity for me to blow his brains out!’ Anderson wrote, according to images of the text messages in charging documents from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Hampshire.
In a separate message to the campaign, he wrote: ‘I’m going to kill everyone who attends and then f*** their corpses.’
Ramaswamy went forward with his campaign event in Portsmouth on Monday, posting a video of him speaking with people at a diner.
‘We are grateful to law enforcement for their swiftness and professionalism in handling this matter,’ Tricia McLaughlin told DailyMail.com. ‘We’re going to let the investigators do their work and figure out who this person is and what their motives might be.’
Ramaswamy has been getting under the skin of many who are running against him for the presidential nomination. Chris Christie, for example, labeled him an “obnoxious blowhard” while Nikki Haley called him “scum.”
The media has also attacked the youngest candidate in the field’s aggressive and brash personality. For example, Fox News host Dagen McDowell said, “He is like your sister’s new boyfriend, excited he’s coming for Thanksgiving. He’s rich, an entrepreneur… and you’re coming up on New Year’s Eve you’re trying to concoct what kind of illness you’re going to have so you don’t have to spend the night with him.”

On CNN, former Obama adviser Vann Jones labeled Vivek as “despicable.”
Van Jones was "shaking" as Vivek spoke.

The lack of media coverage of the threat, said Ramaswamy campaign spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin, reveals how mainstream media outlets downplay violence against Republicans differently from violence against Democrats.
She said, “I will however say this: we constantly hear about January 6 and ‘violence’ and ‘extremism on the right’ from the media, but the same media goes silent when the target is a Republican. Deranged voices and left-wing cranks… continue to demonize Republicans and question our loyalty to the country.
“It’s no wonder that fanatics will take action. Whenever it’s some nut with alleged right-wing views, the media is quick to blame all conservatives for stoking violence.
“And yet the media never looks in the mirror and sees that they stoke hatred and violence by questioning our patriotism and motives and accusing us of undermining democracy.”
When asked by ABC News last week if he felt any concerns for his safety, especially following his call to abolish the FBI, Ramaswamy declared, “I have not certainly brought that up as a concern.”
When asked then if threats had been made on his life, the tech millionaire continued: “We don’t take anything for granted, but I’m confident that the team around us and our family is on this journey together. And I’m praying for our family and our country.”
The young Republican currently does not receive Secret Service protection, and despite the threats, he’s unlikely to get it anytime soon.
Over the summer, the Biden administration, which has the authority to grant protection to presidential candidates, denied a request for Secret Service protection from fellow Democrat Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
“The American people, no matter their politics, will find this decision shocking and repugnant,” Kennedy campaign manager Dennis Kucinich said in a statement in July. “This is obviously a political decision, not a legal one. As such, this is directly on President Biden. It is absolutely implausible that the President would try to claim that he was not consulted by his cabinet secretary on a matter as sensitive as this.”
Kennedy’s father was murdered while campaigning during the Democratic primaries in 1968.
The last major political assassination attempt in the United States occurred on June 14, 2017, during a congressional baseball practice in Alexandria, Virginia. James Hodgkinson, a left-wing activist and Bernie Sanders supporter, opened fire on the Republican team, critically injuring Congressman Steve Scalise, the House Majority Whip at the time, along with several others.
The incident prompted a swift response from law enforcement, resulting in Hodgkinson’s death. The motive behind the attack was believed to be politically motivated, as Hodgkinson had expressed strong anti-Republican sentiments that many argued were incited by Democrats making radical claims that Republican policies on taxes would lead to people dying and plays portraying the assassination of Donald Trump were celebrated in liberal outlets.
