Joe Biden’s Daughter Also Allegedly Didn’t Pay Taxes

It’s becoming rather clear that the Biden Family does not believe that the law applies to them, even if it makes the patriarch of the family, President Joe Biden, look like a massive hypocrite.

One of the president’s chief talking points since taking over the White House in 2021 has been to talk about the wealthy paying “their fair share” in taxes.

To ensure that we all pay our fair share, Democrats passed a spending bill to add tens of thousands of new IRS agents, many of them tasked with making sure that you file a tax return if you receive $600 or more from a Venmo transaction

The president’s family, however, appears to not be getting that message. While most of us by now are family with Hunter Biden’s tax problems, it turns out that his sister, Ashley Biden, hasn’t been “paying her fair share” either and now has a tax lien, according to a recent tax docket examined by Fox News.

On Dec. 1, the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue in Philadelphia County notified [Ashley] Biden that the “amount of such unpaid tax, interest, additions or penalties is a lien in favor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania upon the taxpayer’s property – real, personal, or both – as the case may be,” according to the notice.

The period start date listed on the lien begins Jan. 1, 2015 – when Joe Biden was vice president in the Obama administration – and ends Jan. 1, 2021, days before he was sworn in as president.

“The scale is not anything like Hunter, but… Joe is constantly talking about how wealthy and connected people do not pay their fair share and can afford to pay more, and it just so happens that both of his living children did not pay their taxes,” Garrett Ziegler, the founder of nonprofit Marco Polo and former President Trump aide, told Fox News Digital in an interview Friday.

“This is just another example of the Bidens being careless,” he said. “Like, you’d think that they would show a little bit more prudence when you’re the American first family to make sure you don’t have any tax liens on you, especially going into an election year.”

While it’s true that $5,000 seems small compared to the millions in taxes allegedly dodged by her brother, the smallness of the sum, writes The New York Post editorial board, is the point.

They write, “Indeed, given how intermingled Biden family finances are, she could likely take five grand out of what amounts to Biden Inc.’s petty cash drawer.

No, for her, it’s plainly a belief that laws are for the little people.

She’s a Biden; she doesn’t have to take care to pay what she owes.

Like her big bro, when he nonchalantly defied a subpoena from Congress, and instead staged a self-pitying press conference reeking of teenage histrionics.

Or when he seemingly smoked crack while driving north of 170 mph, endangering the lives of everyone else on the road.”

Ashley’s tax problems come as another investigation revealed that Joe Biden’s brother was caught on tape by the FBI during a bribery probe.

“The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) secretly recorded conversations featuring President Joe Biden’s brother, James Biden, as part of a bribery probe into a Mississippi attorney who once paid $100,000 to James Biden’s consulting firm, according to a new report.

The FBI taped James Biden during a bribery investigation of Mississippi trial attorney Richard Scruggs who paid James Biden’s Lion Hall group $100,000 in 1998 to help obtain his brother’s support for tobacco-related legislation under consideration by Congress, the Washington Post first reported Saturday.

Scruggs’ payment to James Biden came during a push to have tobacco companies pay roughly $368 billion in a lawsuit alleging the tobacco companies withheld information about the addictiveness of their products. Congress had to waive antitrust provisions as part of the deal and then-Sen. Joe Biden ended up being a key supporter of the bill.”

The Washington Post’s article made clear that James has made a huge sum of money selling his access to his brother.

“I probably wouldn’t have hired him if he wasn’t the senator’s brother,” Scruggs recounted to the Washington Post. Unsurprisingly, Biden ended up supporting the tobacco legislation, but it ultimately failed to pass.

“Jim was never untoward about his influence,” Scruggs added. “He didn’t brag about it or talk about it. He didn’t have to. He was the man’s brother.”

“Jim Biden’s consulting work has never involved speaking with or providing access to his brother for this or any other client,” James Biden’s lawyer Paul Fishman told the newspaper.

Over the summer, the House Oversight Committee claimed that Joe Biden has “repeatedly lied about his family’s business dealings. Joe Biden claims he never spoke to his family about their business dealings; his family never received $1 million in payments through a third party; his son never made money in China; his son’s dealings were ethical; and his son did nothing wrong.”

The committee has provided 16 different times the president was caught being untruthful about how he interacted with the family business
