It’s becoming clearer and clearer that Joe Biden is only vaguely in charge of operations at the White House. Allegedly, Jill Biden has begun demanding that the president take a tougher stance against Israel in its war to eliminate the terrorist organization Hamas, which killed over 1,200 Israelis, including women and children.
The group currently holds nearly 100 hostages, including Americans.
“At a meeting with Muslim community members at the White House on Tuesday evening, one guest told President Biden that his wife had disapproved of him coming to the meeting because of Mr. Biden’s support for Israel in its war against Hamas.
Mr. Biden replied that he understood. The first lady, he said, had been urging him to “Stop it, stop it now,” according to an attendee who heard his remarks,” according to The New York Times.
Biden has claimed to support Israel’s right to defend itself.
The First Lady’s urging comes as reality again undercuts the utopian world of liberals as the president slouches towards World War III and Iran appears to be on the verge of expanding the conflict in the Middle East.
The CIA has warned Israel that Iran will attack the country in the next 48 hours, it has been reported.
Israel killed two Iranian military commanders with a strike on Tehran’s consulate in the Syrian capital Damascus this week.
Iran vowed that it would take revenge for the attack, and now foreign media is reporting that US intelligence is fearful of an attack on Israel.
Tehran is said to be planning a combined attack with a “rain” of drones and missiles fired from its bases at strategic locations inside Israel, according to Al Mayadeen.
Too bad we couldn’t refill the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
The intelligence briefing comes as the White House has sent mixed signals, with the president saying one thing and his staff saying something different.
Earlier today, the president spoke with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for thirty minutes to discuss the accidental bombing of aid workers in Gaza who were connected to a charitable organization run by Biden’s liberal friend, chef Jose Andres.
CNN reported that “President Joe Biden on Thursday told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the overall humanitarian situation in Gaza is unacceptable and warned Israel to take steps to address the crisis or face consequences, a stark statement from Israel’s staunchest ally.
The 30-minute conversation was the two leaders’ first phone call since an Israeli strike killed seven aid workers from the World Central Kitchen in Gaza. The killings have set off a furor inside the White House, and Biden has been described as reaching a new level of frustration with Israel’s campaign.
“President Biden emphasized that the strikes on humanitarian workers and the overall humanitarian situation are unacceptable,” the White House said in a statement shortly after the call wrapped. “He made clear that US policy with respect to Gaza will be determined by our assessment of Israel’s immediate action on these steps.”
Biden also said Israel needed to “announce and implement a series of specific, concrete, and measurable steps to address civilian harm, humanitarian suffering, and the safety of aid workers.”
Meanwhile, Secretary of State of Anthony Blinken spoke today and claimed that the president called for “an immediate ceasefire” between Israel and Hamas during his phone call with the Israeli prime minister.

Columnist and Fox News favorite David Marcus was quick to note the difference between what Blinken said and what his boss, who is allegedly the person in charge of the White House, posted on social media.
Blinken said Biden called for an immediate ceasefire. That’s not what this says. What’s going on? Here’s the video. Did Biden demand an immediate ceasefire or not?https://t.co/mErydKlxnd https://t.co/CAG783PQQO

Hamas rejected a ceasefire earlier in the week, but that won’t stop Democrats from cowering to their radical base that hates Israel.
This is who the president is bending to:

Blinken’s entire trip appeared to be a wink and a nod to all liberal foreign policy fever dreams. The Secretary of State said “Ukraine will become a member of NATO. Our purpose at the summit is to help build a bridge to that membership,” Blinken told reporters in Brussels.
The Hill noted that “NATO allies agreed at the 2023 summit in Vilnius, Lithuania, that Ukraine can join NATO when certain conditions are met, but sparked criticism from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Baltic allies for failing to set concrete goals and a timeline for Kyiv to join the alliance.
Ukraine’s supporters are crafting ways to demonstrate robust international support for Kyiv that can be announced at NATO’s Washington summit, marking the 75th anniversary of the alliance.”
The move marked another instance where the Secretary of State and the president did not seem to be meeting eye to eye. Last July, Biden said that Ukraine’s entrance into NATO was “premature.”
He continued in an interview with CNN by saying, “I don’t think it’s ready for membership in NATO I don’t think there is unanimity in NATO about whether or not to bring Ukraine into the NATO family now, at this moment, in the middle of a war.”
Last fall, Ukraine canceled its elections after making them contingent on the US providing more money to the country. The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, “has used the war as a justification for outlawing 11 opposition parties. He also invoked martial law to issue a presidential decree that combined all national television stations into one platform.
On Dec. 29, 2022, Zelensky signed a new law that his party had pushed through parliament — a measure that further curbed an independent press. Other presidential actions sought to ban the Russian Orthodox Church and imposed severe sanctions on its top clerics. A growing number of people are being jailed without due process.”
Many have argued that Ukraine joining NATO would merely lead to an escalation of the war in Europe, which led the most ardent supporters of Ukraine’s effort to fight Russia, who have claimed there was no intention to add the war-torn country to the alliance.
This is so weird as I was told repeatedly by many Ukraine hawks the last two years that it’s NATO membership was a dead letter and had nothing to do with current events. https://t.co/4BgKbMZAqb
