James Carville is no longer so cocky about the state of the campaign. In February, New Conservative Post wrote that it’s not very often that James Carville will endorse a Trump for anything, but recently the longtime Democratic political operative announced he’s backing Lara Trump as the new co-chair of the Republican National Committee.
“Please put Lara Trump over there,” Carville told MSNBC’s Jen Psaki on Monday. “Please steal every dollar you can get. Every one of these Republican state parties — Michigan, Arizona, all over the country — are falling apart, fighting with each other, underfunded.”
“We have the advantage, Jen,” he said. “Press, press, press, press. Now.”
What a difference two months can make. With the GOP raking in millions in fundraising under her leadership, along with the announcement that the RNC will not be paying Trump’s legal bills, Carville has hit panic mode.
And it’s not pretty, writes The Daily Caller.
President Joe Biden’s support among young voters has been declining since even before the Israel-Hamas war commenced in October. Carville on an episode of “James Carville Explains” chided young voters for not committing to vote for Democrats, asserting that Republican and conservative control of the country will lead to them not having any rights for the remainder of their lives.
“And then you tell these young people, if you don’t get involved right now in this election, they’re going to be involved in your life for the rest of your freaking life,” Carville said. “If Trump and Roberts and Alito and Gorsuch and Thomas and Leonard Leo and the Heritage Foundation, if they get a hold, there will be no government left, there will be no rights left, you will live under theocracy, you’ll end up with Christian nationalism. But that’s all right, you little fucking 26-year-old, you don’t feel like ‘the election’s important to me. They’re not addressing the issues that I care about.’”
“So, my advice to tell these young people to get off your motherfucking ass and go vote because you should vote like your entire future and the entire future of this United States depends on it because quite frankly, it does, and that’s not an exaggeration,” Carville added.
“We have people saying, ‘I’m just not into this election, James.’ I think they’re both too old and they’re not speaking to the issues that address me,” Carville said later. “Oh, really? You’re full of shit. Go look at what’s going on around you.”
As the pro-Hamas wing of the Democratic Party continues to protest Israel and support North Korea and the terrorist group Hezbollah on college campuses, the numbers for Joe Biden have begun to crater.
The Washington Times reported that a “Harvard Youth Poll released Thursday shows the 81-year-old Democrat holds a 45% to 37% lead over former President Donald Trump among all 18 to 29 years old, while 16% are undecided.
The same survey at this point in the 2020 race showed Mr. Biden with a 51% to 28% lead among that same subset of voters.
It is another warning sign for Mr. Biden, who at the age of 81 is trying to recreate his winning coalition from 2020 that relied on strong support from minority, young and female voters.
Mr. Biden‘s approval rating is underwater with young voters, who have a dismal view of the country’s direction, with 9% saying the nation is headed in the right direction.”
Biden’s latest attempt at winning the youth vote came last week when he praised “Squad” congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, saying that “he learned long ago to listen to that lady.” She followed up her event with Biden and headed to Columbia University to join the pro-Hamas protests.
AOC’s visit was followed by Columbia suspension of the leader of the “encampment” after video revealed him saying that Columbia officials should “be grateful that I’m not just going out and murdering Zionists” and that he “hates white people.”
At Princeton, another voter Biden is desperate to win over praised North Korea while one of his classmates waved a Hezbollah flag.
What garbage. Unbelievable. I don't know what's worse @Princeton: the #Hezbollah flag on campus? Praise of #NorthKorea? Or offering a "scholar" position to the former ambassador of the Islamic Republic of #Iran to Germany when the regime was carrying out assassinations there? https://t.co/FrnjiMXsp4

One suspects James Carville will not like what he sees at the upcoming Democratic National Convention this summer in Chicago.
