Video Of American Hostage Released By Hamas, White House Silent

While hundreds of very wealthy, privileged college students protest Palestine for vague reasons, an American being held captive by the terrorist group Hamas was likely forced to read a statement condemning Israel’s prime minister. The graphic video showed that he was missing half of an arm.

Do these NYU students know that this is what she’s supporting?

Probably not.

CNN reported, “Hamas released a video of Israeli-American hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin on Wednesday, the first proof that he survived being badly wounded during his capture on October 7.

Goldberg-Polin, then 23, was kidnapped from the Nova music festival during Hamas’ attacks on Israel when more than 1,200 people died and more than 200 people were taken hostage.

He is shown in the undated video with part of his left arm missing several inches above the hand.

The latest video shows Goldberg-Polin sitting in a chair, addressing the camera. Gesturing occasionally with his injured arm, he identifies himself and gives his date of birth and parents’ names.

He says he has been “here for almost 200 days,” suggesting the video was filmed shortly before Tuesday, the 200th day of the war.

The Jerusalem Post explained that Hamas periodically publishes videos of hostages “to increase pressure on the Israeli government to agree to its terms and as a form of psychological warfare. In the past, hostages have been forced to read from scripts prepared by the terrorist organization.”

“On Friday evening, our family gathered to celebrate Simchat Torah,” said John Goldberg-Polin, Goldberg-Polin’s father, in October. “Hersh went to a party around 11:00 at night. We wished him a good time. On Saturday morning, we heard alarms and realized something serious had occurred. My wife checked her phone. At 08:00 in the morning, we received a message from Hersh saying, ‘I love you.’ Ten minutes later, he sent another message ‘I’m sorry.'”

Goldberg-Polin’s mother, Rachel Goldberg, has become a prominent activist in the worldwide push to release of the 133 Israelis still being held hostage by Hamas in Gaza.

Hersh’s parents released a heartbreaking video begging him to stay strong and survive.

The White House has not yet said if the president condemns the Goldberg-Polin family for “not understanding what’s going on with the Palestinians.”

Red State noted that “there’s no question Goldberg-Polin was forced to read that statement under duress. You can tell by how specific some of the talking points are. For example, how would he know how many other hostages were supposedly killed by airstrikes? How would he know how the ground war in Gaza is going? These are all things Hamas told him to say to push their propaganda.

It’s the lowest form of humanity that does that to a victim like Goldberg-Polin. I haven’t looked, but I’d assume the pro-Hamas accounts on social media are running with this and claiming it’s an authentic representation.

None of this is unexpected given what has transpired in the United States over the last week. Hamas has been emboldened by what they see as a ground swell of direct support from the far-left. College campuses have been taken over and violence has broken out against Jews all while American politicians actually defend what’s happening. Hamas knows that its only path to survival is for Israel to not take Rafah, and they are pressing every button to prevent it.

Frankly, this video should only cause Israel to fight harder. This has to end, and it can’t end if Hamas is allowed to retain control. They have rejected every ceasefire proposal in favor of continuing to hold the hostages because they have no intention of ever releasing them. That’s a hard pill to swallow, but the only way out of this is to take Rafah by force and put an end to Hamas once and for all.”

While Biden seems content to allow Americans to be held hostage, lest he lose votes from college radicals or in Michigan, Israel seems intent on doing everything it can to free the hostages.
