By In a 2019 debate, every Democrat who ran for president claimed that they would do everything they could to grant illegal immigrants free or subsidized healthcare.
Fox News reported that as a candidate, Joe Biden said that the United States must provide healthcare “regardless of whether they are documented or undocumented.”
Biden said, “Look, I think that anyone who is in a situation where they are in need of health care, regardless of whether they are documented or undocumented, we have an obligation to see that they are cared for,” Biden said in response to whether illegal immigrants “should be entitled to federal benefits like Medicare, Medicaid.”
“By the way, a significant portion of undocumented folks in this country are there because they overstayed their visas,” the former vice president continued.
While Biden has done everything in his power to make sure his last statement is no longer true, allowing millions of illegal immigrants to come over the southern border, he’s now making good on giving the undocumented taxpayer-subsidized healthcare.

More than 100,000 young immigrants protected by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program will soon become eligible to receive federal health care coverage for the first time since DACA was implemented over a decade ago.
The Biden administration will announce a new federal rule Friday allowing DACA recipients to enroll in a qualified health plan through the Affordable Care Act insurance marketplace or become eligible for coverage through a basic health program.
An estimated 580,000 young adults who lack legal immigration status and have lived in the U.S. since they were children are currently working or studying without fear of deportation under DACA. An overwhelming majority of DACA recipients were born in Mexico and other Latin American countries.
Even though the program has helped them access better-paying jobs and educational opportunities since it was first implemented in 2012, DACA beneficiaries had been barred from accessing federally funded health insurance despite contributing billions in federal taxes, pouring funds into the nation’s federal health insurance system for years.
Although a significant portion of DACA recipients obtain health insurance via their employment, it’s estimated that over a quarter of them currently lack coverage.
While the public has been begging Democrats to become more serious about illegal immigration, Biden has only upped his support for immigration. He’s gone so far as to even attack one of America’s closest allies over the issue.
Politico reported that “the Japanese Embassy on Friday issued a slight rebuke of President Joe Biden for referring to Japan as “xenophobic,” saying it raised concerns with administration officials over the remarks.
“It is unfortunate that some of the comments were not based on an accurate understanding of Japan’s policies,” the embassy said in a statement to POLITICO. “We have raised this point to the U.S. government and explained Japan’s positions and policies once again.”
During a campaign fundraiser on Wednesday, Biden grouped Japan — a close U.S. ally —with several other countries that he said were struggling economically because of their immigration policies.
‘Why is China stalling so badly economically? Why is Japan having trouble? Why is Russia? Why is India?’ Biden said during his speech. ‘Because they’re xenophobic. They don’t want immigrants.'”
Biden’s Secretary of Homeland Security has gone as far as claiming that enforcing American immigration laws are “violence to our fundamental values.”
Gallup recently reported that immigration has been named the top U.S. problem for a third straight month. “For the third month in a row, immigration is the problem Americans name more than any other as the most important facing the U.S. While immigration has not ranked as the top problem often in Gallup’s monthly trend, it stands alone as the most politically polarizing issue in the past 25 years of Gallup’s measurement.
The record surge of migrants at the southern U.S. border in December brought even more focus on the issue — and while attempted crossings have eased slightly since then, they are expected to increase as spring continues. President Joe Biden’s approval rating for his handling of immigration has been persistently poor. With the presidential election about six months away and immigration top of mind, the issue remains a significant vulnerability for Biden as he seeks reelection.”
