Hunter Biden Drops Lawsuit Against Rudy Giuliani

Hunter Biden has gone into full retreat. Following his guilty verdict in his gun trial, the son of the president has abandoned his legal strategy of suing every conservative who criticized him and pointed out that he likely committed several crimes.

One of the crown prince of the Biden family’s biggest targets was Rudy Giuliani. Last September, he sued the former mayor of New York City and another lawyer, “saying the two wrongly accessed and shared his personal data after obtaining it from the owner of a Delaware computer repair shop.

The suit [accused] Giuliani and attorney Robert Costello of spending years ‘hacking into, tampering with, manipulating, copying, disseminating, and generally obsessing over’ the data that was “taken or stolen” from Biden’s devices or storage, leading to the “total annihilation” of Biden’s digital privacy.

The suit filed in California also claim[ed] Biden’s data was ‘manipulated, altered and damaged’ before it was sent to Giuliani and Costello, and has been further altered since then. Accessing, opening and sharing it broke laws against computer hacking, the suit argues.”

Now, according to NBC News, he’s saying, “never mind.”

The president’s son last year formally accused Giuliani and Costello of violating computer fraud and data access laws, alleging they manipulated data from his “devices or storage platforms.”

Attorneys for all three parties filed the agreement, which stipulates that Biden agrees to drop the lawsuit and that each man will pay his own legal fees.

The lawsuit initially sought more than $75,000 in damages, as well as attorneys’ fees and other penalties.

“As Giuliani is in bankruptcy and agreed to have the case waiting for when he is done, it made no sense to continue it in a non-bankruptcy court until that happens,” a person familiar with the filing told NBC News on Thursday.

Last year, Hunter planned to come out guns blazing against his critics and prepared to sue everyone who dared criticize him or reveal his alleged wrongdoings, including whistleblowers and Fox News.

Then he lost his sweetheart deal from his father’s Department of Justice, which made him face charges for his gun crimes and led federal prosecutors to admit that the “laptop from Hell” was real and verified after they submitted it as evidence against the president’s son.

Special counsel David Weiss wrote that “the defendant’s laptop is real (it will be introduced as a trial exhibit) and it contains significant evidence of the defendant’s guilt.”

CNN wrote that “Biden dropped off the laptop at a Delaware repair shop in April 2019. His lawyers said in the filing that the shop owner admitted in his memoir that he “began accessing sensitive, private material in the data” right away, and continued to potentially tamper with the data throughout the five months before the FBI seized the device.

Prosecutors counter by saying that some of the people who exchanged these messages with Biden will testify and assert that the messages are real. They also say the laptop materials are only a fraction of the digital evidence they have collected against Biden, including messages subpoenaed directly from Apple.

‘He has not shown any of the actual evidence in this case is unreliable or inauthentic, because there is none,’ Weiss’ team wrote in a Wednesday filing. ‘Instead, the defendant’s theory about the laptop is a conspiracy theory with no supporting evidence.’

Prosecutors said the laptop materials at issue are ‘extractions by an FBI forensic specialist which were extracted after a technical examination of the laptop in 2019′ – and not the files that were publicly released by the repair-shop owner or obtained by news outlets ‘after who-knows-what was added.’”

Hunter was found guilty of all charges and is awaiting sentencing. With his humiliation complete and his ability to lie about the evidence against him taken away, he’s now allegedly looking at the Supreme Court to save him.

That is, if his father won’t.
