By It’s strange to be living in the days of Jimmy Carter’s time in the White House again, but here we are. As governors in the United States have to pick up the slack for the tired and old president dealing with a foreign policy crisis and U.S. citizens taken hostage abroad, Americans are also now learning the Biden Administration has been stocked full with pro-Hamas staffers, many of who are in charge of deciding which migrants can claim asylum and enter the United States.
During the terrorist attack launched by Hamas earlier in the month, 13 Americans were taken hostage and dragged back to Gaza. They are, according to The New York Times, currently “guarded by gunmen and booby traps, likely scattered and hidden from any would-be rescuers as Israel readies a ground invasion.”
The newspaper explains that although “Israeli and U.S. commandos have pulled off extraordinary hostage rescues before….the chaotic environment of Gaza, which is descending into a humanitarian crisis and the base where Hamas launched devastating attacks on Israel this month, has made such a mission unlikely because of the dangers to hostages and soldiers alike.”
News Nation put a name to some of those taken by the terrorists in Palestine. “Abbey Onn, who is an American who is living in Israel, told ‘On Balance’ host Leland Vittert that she lost contact with her family members on Saturday, the day of the attack.
‘We woke up Saturday like everyone else in Israel to sirens, and we thought that it was the regular, you know, run of the mill war. We have family in the center and the north and the south, and so we all started speaking on WhatsApp. We quickly understood that our family … in a kibbutz close to Gaza, had been infiltrated by Hamas,’ Onn said.
She believes five of her family members are among the hostages.
Ben Raanan of Denver spoke with NewsNation affiliate KDVR about his 17-year-old sister and step-mother who have been taken hostage.
He said they’ve received ‘no proof of life” from Hamas.'”
During a Zoom call earlier in the week, President Biden “spoke with family members of 14 Americans who are unaccounted for in the Israel-Hamas war, the White House said, including some believed to be held hostage by Hamas,” wrote NBC News.
“They’re going through agony, not knowing what the status of their sons and daughters, husbands wives, children,” Biden said during remarks at an event in Philadelphia on Friday afternoon.
The president allegedly said, “It’s my personal commitment to do everything possible, everything possible to return every missing American to their families” and told them that he is working “around the clock” to try to free their relatives.
On Wednesday the president was discussing the situation when his press secretary jumped in and stopped him from going into details, again reminding everyone who’s in charge.

What he did not tell them was that he was planning to give Palestine $100 million without the conditions that American hostages.
I just announced $100 million for humanitarian assistance in Gaza and the West Bank.
This money will support over 1 million displaced and conflict-affected Palestinians.
And we will have mechanisms in place so this aid reaches those in need – not Hamas or terrorist groups.

He previously had placed the price tag for American hostages at $6 billion, money that was likely used to offset the cost of the most violent attack against civilians in decades. The Biden White House loves funding Palestine to satiate the anti-Irael caucus growing in his party. Previously, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken continued passing “humanitarian” funds likely used by Hamas despite knowing an attack was coming.
No one should be surprised: the Biden State Department used to employ a special envoy to Iran who grew up with Yasser Arafat as his “godfather” and the Biden Department of Defense currently employs a chief of staff at the Pentagon who has been uncovered as being part of an Iranian propaganda unit.
She’s still employed, and the White House has defended her, allowing her to keep her security clearance.
What may be more shocking, however, is that the Biden Administration has been hiring anti-Israel and pro-terrorism staffers to help craft their immigration strategy at the southern border.
New Conservative Post previously noted that one of the architects of Biden’s immigration strategy, Ramzi Kassem, praised the Hamas terrorist attack. A member of the president’s Domestic Policy Council, Kassem founded CLEAR, a City University of New York project that offers free legal support to New York City Muslims. Following the pro-terror protests that occurred in New York City last weekend, CLEAR announced it would ensure pro-Hamas demonstrators are “protected” as they “continue on until Palestine is liberated, reported The Washington Free Beacon.
Now, an investigation by The Daily Wire has revealed that the Biden Department of Homeland Security hired a former spokesperson for the Palestinian Liberation Organization, an anti-Israel organization.
Nejwa Ali’s job is vetting who at the southern border is allowed to stay in the United States after claiming asylum.
“The U.S. immigration enforcement agency hired a former spokeswoman for the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) and put her in a position to determine who gets to come into the country as an immigrant or ‘asylum seeker.’ Now the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officer is repeatedly posting pictures of Hamas terrorists parachuting in with guns and writing, ‘F*** Israel and any Jew who supports Israel,’ a Daily Wire investigation found.
Nejwa Ali worked in 2016 and 2017 as a public affairs officer for the Palestinian Delegation to the U.S., which according to its own website, served as the “PLO office in D.C.” That office was expelled from the country by the Trump administration, but Ali landed on her feet, according to a screenshot of her LinkedIn profile, securing a job at DHS as an “Asylum Officer,” where she was tasked with “applying immigration laws and regulations to asylum applications.”
This January, she moved over to being an Adjudication Officer for the U.S. Customs and Immigration Service (CIS). People with that job, according to the agency, “analyze new or amended legislation and policy, prepare written reports of findings, and review and make determinations on cases for immigration benefits.”
Ali has made several posts glorifying the terrorist attacks on Israel, including one depicting armed terrorists paragliding into the Jewish state with the caption, ‘Free PALESTINE.’”
The Daily Wire also noted that staffers like Ali will likely play a big role in the future as America faces “pressure from the political Left to welcome Palestinian refugees into the country amid Israel’s war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.”
Ali’s positions regarding Israel go squarely against Joe Biden’s vision, but it’s becoming harder and harder to believe that the president is the one implementing the policy when the rubber meets the road.

Still, for many staffers in the White House, Biden’s “support” for Israel has been enough to cause far-left, pro-Hamas staffers to resign, revealing just how far the gap is between what the president says and what his administration does.
Staffers in the Biden admin speak of their fear of speaking internally about Biden's approach to the Israel-Gaza crisis.
“The pride I felt serving in President Biden’s administration has given way to deep shame. May God forgive us," one person said.
