By Hamas has broken its widely celebrated cease-fire. Two Hamas gunmen killed three Israelis while wounding six during an attack at the entrance to Jerusalem on Thursday morning, according to police and medics.
It turns out that the warnings about the cease fire, demanded by leftwing activists all over the United States, turned out to be accurate. It merely allowed the terrorist group to attack without fear of retaliation.

Hamas has claimed responsibility for the brutal attack on civilians.

The victims were named later as Livia Dickman, 24, Ashdod rabbinical judge Elimelech Wasserman, 73, and Hannah Ifergan, who was in her 60s.
According to police, at around 7:40 a.m. two Palestinian gunmen got out of a vehicle on Weizman Boulevard at the main entrance to the capital and opened fire at people at a bus stop.
Police said two off-duty soldiers and an armed civilian in the area returned fire, killing the two terrorists. Both soldiers had been on a break from fighting in the Gaza Strip, and were heading back to the front line when the attack occurred.
The terrorists were named as brothers Murad Nemer, 38, and Ibrahim Nemer, 30, residents of the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sur Baher. According to the Shin Bet security agency, the pair were Hamas members and previously jailed for terror activity.
The ceasefire may have been extended by another day, but the Hamas terrorism continues.

“The terrorists arrived at the scene by car in the morning, armed with an M-16 rifle and a handgun,” police told Reuters. “The terrorists began shooting at civilians before subsequently being killed at the scene.”
The news outlet continued, “Security camera footage obtained by Reuters shows a white car stopping beside the crowded bus stop. Two men then step out, guns drawn, and charge at the crowd as people scatter. Shortly afterwards the Palestinian attackers are themselves shot.
A large number of first-responders and security forces converged on the area that was crowded with morning commuters. The slain victims were identified by Israeli media as a woman in her 20s, a woman in her 60s and a 74-year-old rabbi.
Israel’s Shin Bet security agency identified the gunmen as 30- and 38-year-old brothers who were affiliated with Hamas, which runs Gaza. Both had previously been jailed in Israel.”
It is not clear if the attackers were part of the 3-to-1 trade in which Israel was supposed to receive roughly 50 women and children while 150 Hamas soldiers and terrorists gained their freedom, including a known car bomber.
Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel’s security minister, visited the scene, saying the attack at the bus stop reveals that the only way to respond to Hamas is through the military.
“This type of incident proves again how much we can’t show weakness, how much we have to speak to Hamas only through intentions, only through the war,” he said, according to reporting by The Guardian. Ben-Gvir has previously called for an end to the current truce.
