By Joe Biden’s “senior moments” are getting are getting scarier and scarier. Earlier in the week, the president appeared to think he’d been talking to a French leader who died in 1996.
Fox News noted, “President Biden told a crowd in Las Vegas on Sunday that he recently met with Francois Mitterrand, the French president who has been dead for nearly 30 years.
The comments came while Biden was warning of the dangers of a potential second Trump presidency, as he aimed to shore up enthusiasm ahead of Tuesday’s Democratic primary in Nevada.
Biden recounted a story he has told many times during his presidency, about a meeting he had with French President Emmanuel Macron during a G7 meeting in England, some months after Biden had taken over the White House.
“I sat down and I said, ‘America’s back,’” Biden recalled. ‘And Mitterrand from Germany – I mean from France – looked at me and said…'”
The White House later corrected the president, saying he meant to say Emmanuel Macron, the current president of France.
Only a day or so later, however, Biden appeared to forget the name of Hamas during a press conference about the war in Israel.

Speaking from the White House, Biden blasted former President Donald Trump for the growing opposition toward the $118.3 billion deal, which was a compromise by Senate lawmakers and the White House after months of negotiation.
Answering a question after his speech about how a hostage deal can be reached, Biden said, “This indirectly has a lot to do with the hostage deal and what’s going on in the Middle East — the decision on what we do relative to Israel, the decision what we do or in terms of American funding of whether we’re going to engage with the situation in Ukraine.”
Biden continued, seemingly forgetting the name of Hamas, the militant group that attacked Israel on Oct. 7.
“There is some movement, and I don’t wanna, I don’t wanna, let me choose my words — there’s some movement. There’s been a response from the, uh, there’s been a response from the opposition, but um,” Biden said.

Later in the week, Biden again confused European leaders with dead ones from the past. Axios wrote, “Biden attended two campaign receptions in New York City Wednesday, during which he told the crowd a story about speaking to European leaders at a G7 meeting in 2021 about the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, NBC News reported.
“And then Helmut Kohl turned to me and said, ‘What would you say, Mr. President, if you picked up the London Times and learned that 1,000 people had broken down the doors of the British parliament, killed some bobbies on the way in, to deny the prime minister to take office,” Biden said, per Bloomberg.
Kohl had died four years earlier, in 2017. Merkel attended the summit in 2021.”
Biden isn’t the only frontrunner confusing people. During an appearance on Fox News, former President Trump, 77, appeared to confuse Biden with Obama while talking about presidential immunity, saying, “If the president of the United States and I’m not talking about myself, I’m talking about any president, has to have immunity, because if you take immunity away from the president, so important, you will have you have a president that’s not going to be able to do anything”.
“Because when he leaves office, the opposing party, president, if it’s the opposing party, will indict the president for doing something that should have been good, like Obama dropped missiles, and they ended up hitting a kindergarten or school or the apartment house, a lot of people were killed,” he added.
‘Well, if that’s the case, he’s going to end up being indicted when he leaves office. He meant well, the missile went in the wrong direction and other things,’ Mr Trump said, seemingly referring to Mr Obama as if he was still in office, even though the 44th president departed the White House as Mr Trump himself assumed the office.”
Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough, a show that is loved by both Biden and Trump, said on MSNBC on Friday morning that “Donald Trump is not well, we know this.”
This is not the first time that commentators and supporters have noticed both candidates appearing to have health problems. In Iowa, supporters expressed concern about the former president and in New Hampshire, Trump appeared to confuse Nikki Haley and Nancy Pelosi.
Biden appears to have “senior moments” on a weekly basis.

One man, former president, is so narcissistic he will share confidential information to impress people. The other, currently president, is so addled that he doesn't even know when he is sharing confidential information. One of the two will be president for the next four years.
