Joe Biden Proven To Have Lied To The Public During Press Conference

In February, an angry Joe Biden claimed that Special Counsel Robert Hur had asked him about his son Beau’s death. Lashing out at the prosecutor, Biden said during his impromptu press conference, the president said, How in the hell dare he raise that? Frankly, when I was asked the question, I thought to myself, it wasn’t any of their damn business.”

On Tuesday, Biden was proven to have lied about the incident in an effort to hide the fact that his memory has gotten poorer with age.

“Hur’s report detailing the president’s handling of classified documents made several notes about Biden’s memory,” noted The Daily Caller, “including that he forgot the date of his son’s death and when his vice presidency began and ended. Biden held an unexpected press conference a few hours after the release of the report, criticizing Hur for questioning his late son’s death. The president, however, was the one who raised the date of his son’s death.

Rather than pushing Biden about the date of Beau Biden’s death, Hur questioned the president on where work-related papers were being kept following the conclusion of his vice presidency in January of 2017.”

The Washington Examiner explained how it was the president, not Hur, who brought up the death of Beau Biden and that Joe clearly forgot the year his son died.

The problem is, on Tuesday, the Justice Department released the transcript of Hur’s interview with Biden, and it clearly shows that not only did Biden forget when his son died, as Hur claimed, but that it was Biden, not Hur, who raised the issue.

Here is the exchange:

MR. HUR: “So during this time when you were living at Chain Bridge Road and there were documents relating to the Penn Biden Center, or the Biden Institute, or the Cancer Moonshot, or your book, where did you keep papers that related to those things that you were actively working on?”

PRESIDENT BIDEN: “Well, um, … I, I, I, I, I don’t know. This is, what, 2017, 2018, that area?”

MR. HUR: “Yes, sir.”

PRESIDENT BIDEN: “Remember, in this timeframe, my son is — either been deployed or is dying, and, so it was — and by the way, there were still a lot of people at the time when I got out of the Senate that were encouraging me to run in this period, except the President [Obama]. I’m not — and not a mean thing to say. He just thought that she [Hillary Clinton] had a better shot of winning the presidency than I did. And so I hadn’t, I hadn’t at this point — even though I’m at Penn [his post-presidential think tank], I hadn’t walked away from the idea that I may run for office again. But if I ran again, I’d be running for President. And, and so what was happening though — what month did Beau die? Oh, God, May 30th —”

It was clear that the testimony was only proving Hur’s point by the way many in the mainstream media began claiming that Biden remembered the month and day his son died but not the year or whether or not he was vice president at the time somehow proved Biden has a sharp memory. The attempts received massive pushback online.

One Politico reporter went so far as to claim that Hur saying good morning around 12 PM somehow proved that everyone has memory problems.

Debunking the lie the president told when Hur’s report came out was not, however, the most damning part of the testimony by Hur.

Breitbart reported that “Special Counsel Robert Hur on Tuesday confirmed President Joe Biden’s “willfully retained” classified documents were found in seven places throughout several locations.

During Rep. Kelly Armstrong’s (R-ND) line of questioning in Tuesday’s Judiciary Committee hearing, Hur confirmed that federal authorities located classified documents in seven locations.”

After receiving confirmation that Biden willfully broke the law, Congressman Armstrong pointed out what everyone was thinking. While Democrats broke the law in similar ways, only the Republican, Donald Trump, was currently facing charges.

Rather than admit that the president had lied or broken the law, however, Democrats took on delusions, making assertions about the presidents “exoneration” despite Hur, multiple times contradicting their claims.

Law professor Jonathan Turley described the Democrats as seeming “out of touch with reality” during their questioning of the special counsel.

“Well, I thought the Republicans did a particularly good job today,” Turley said on Fox News’ “America Reports.” “Often the Democrats are way ahead in framing of hearings, but at points the Democrats seemed almost a border on the delusional. When you had Hur say ‘I did not exonerate the president’ and then Democrats would say ‘okay, so you exonerated the president’ and he would say ‘no, I didn’t’ and they would say ‘thank you for that, with that exoneration.’ So for a lot of people watching, they probably kept on having to sort of reverse and see if they missed something here.”

“The fact is that Hur tried over and over again to distinguish between his findings, which is that he was not confident he could convict if he did bring any charges, and the statement of Democrats that the president was cleared,” Turley continued according to The Daily Caller.

“But out of this hearing, it came really some quite shocking observations. I mean, at the end you sort of still wondering why he wasn’t charged, including Hur saying ‘look, we have audio tape of the president referring to the fact that he found classified evidence in his basement.’ Well, okay, that seems like full knowledge. But he kept on coming back to the fact that I think a jury might have been persuaded that this is a nice, elderly man with a faulty memory,” he said.

Democratic Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, for example, repeatedly claimed Hur “exonerated” Biden from prosecution, which the special counsel denied.

“You exonerated him,” Jayapal said during the hearing.

“I did not exonerate him,” Hur responded. “That word does not appear in the report, congresswoman.”

When being refuted, the progressive congresswoman claimed that Hur was trying to speak over her.

Hur wrote the seven words that should have ended the Biden campaign earlier in the year, calling the president a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory” in explaining why he did not present charges against the Biden despite him clearly violating the law.

Biden has stated multiple times that his son Beau died in Iraq when in fact he died from cancer in 2015.
